La coopération entre la France et Taiwan en mathématiques
est fortement soutenue par l'IFT (Institut Français de Taipei, http://www.fi-taipei.org/)

1> Le Ministère des Affaires Étrangères a mis en place
un PHC (Partenariat Hubert Curien, anciennement PAI)
intitule Orchid et gere par EGIDE :

Des appels d'offres sont regulierement menes (tous les
ans en moyenne). Les projets finances le sont pour une duree
de 24 mois eventuellement extensible a 36 mois.
La date limite de co-soumission des projets est fixee
cette annee au 20 mai 2010.

ANNONCES IMPORTANTES :
1> Two training programs sponsored by the National Science Council of
Taiwan (NSC) have been launched for 2010:
- Summer Program in Taiwan 2010: 15 scholarships will be allocated to
French graduate students to undergo 2-month summer trainings in
Taiwanese research institutes.
- Practical Training Program 2010: 15 scholarships will be allocated to
French students enrolled in 2nd year to undergo 2 to 6 month practical
trainings in Taiwanese companies.
Deadline for application is January 15, 2010.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Scientific research in any of the research lines on applied mathematics established in the center:
• Partial Differential Equations, Numerics and Control (PDE)
• Multiphysics, Inversion and Petroleum (MIP)
• Network Design, Analysis and Optimization (NET)
• Calculus of Variations and Elasticity (CVE)
• Mathematical Biology (MB)
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• A PhD degree from an internationally recognized institution,
• Solid track of research publications; and
• 2 reference or support letters
STARTING DATE AND DURATION:
• Starting date will be agreed with the candidate; a tentative starting date is JUNE 1ST 2010.
• Up to 4 years.
GROSS YEARLY SALARY:
It will be negotiated with each candidate, depending on the qualifications and research track, and it will be revised yearly, in accordance with the candidate’s performance and merits. In addition, the selected candidates will also receive Spanish Social Security coverage, comprising health care and contribution towards retirement pension.

| Appel à candidature pour le Partenariat Hubert Curien entre la France et Hong Kong – PHC PROCORE | (auteur : GOMEZ Agnès / mise à jour : ven 2 avr 2010) |
Le PHC « Procore », lancé en 1998 par le Consulat Général de France à Hong Kong et le Research Grants Council, a pour vocation de favoriser la mobilité des chercheurs en soutenant financièrement des collaborations scientifiques et technologiques entre les deux territoires.
Ce programme co-finance :
- des projets bilatéraux de recherche (sous la forme d'une aide à la
mobilité) qui doivent être proposés conjointement par une équipe française et une équipe hongkongaise, pour une durée de un ou deux ans
- des ateliers bilatéraux de recherche qui peuvent se tenir soit en France, soit à Hong Kong
Tous les domaines scientifiques sont éligibles. Une expertise conjointe des projets étant menée pour évaluer la qualité des projets et définir le niveau de leur financement.
La gestion de ce programme est confiée en France à l'association Egide.
La date limite pour le téléchargement des propositions est fixée au 20 mai 2010. Les résultats de la sélection seront publiés le 15 novembre, pour un démarrage des projets au premier janvier 2011.
Vous trouverez par ailleurs ci-joint deux documents qui vous présentent la Recherche dans les universités de Hong Kong (doc. : "Panorama de la recherche" et "Recherche à Hong Kong - bilan et perspectives") qui sont parmi les meilleures de toute la Chine (enseignement/recherche exclusivement an anglais).
