On considère l'espace symplectique $W=W_1\otimes _{F'}W_2$.
The Howe conjecture has been proven for unramified irreducible reductive dual pairs of type $I$. We study the Howe correspondence for such pairs for tamely ramified representations, i.e. representations which admit a fixed vector by an Iwahori subgroup. Let $F$ be a $p$-adic field $(p\not =2)$ and let $(U_1,U_2)$ be an unramified irreducible reductive dual pair of type $I$ over $F$. Let $F'$ be either $F$ or its unramified quadratic extension. We denote by $\mathcal {O}'$ the ring of integers of $F'$. There is a natural identification of $U_i$ with the isometry group of an hermitian space $W_i$ over $F'$. Consider the symplectic space $W=W_1\otimes _{F'}W_2$. We denote by $\widetilde {\mathrm {Sp}}(W)$ the metaplectic group, extension by $\mathbb {C}^\times $ of the symplectic group ${\rm Sp}(W)$ and by ${\widetilde U}_i$ the inverse image of $U_i$ in $\widetilde {\mathrm {Sp}}(W)$. Consider some Iwahori subgroups $I_1$ and $I_2$ of $U_1$ and $U_2$ respectively. We realize the Weil representation of the metaplectic group $\widetilde {\mathrm {Sp}}(W)$ in a model $S$. The main result is : The ${\widetilde U}_2$-module $S^{I_1}$ consisting of the $I_1$-fixed vectors in $S$ is generated by the space of $I_1\times I_2$-invariants. We give an application of that result to the Howe correspondence. Consider an irreducible smooth representation $(\pi _1,V_1)$ of $\widetilde U_1$ with $V^{I_1}_1\not =\{0\}$, where $I_1$ is an Iwahori subgroup of $U_1$. Let $(\pi _2,V_2)$ be the image of $(\pi _1,V_1)$ in the Howe correspondence. Then $V^{I_2}_2\not =\{0\}$, for some Iwahori subgroup $I_2$ of $U_2$.
